How to Perform a Pushup Correctly

A how-to primer to help you perform this whole-body exercise for one and then multiple reps.

Most people think this is a chest exercise — and it is — but it works the entire body. It’s essentially a plank with a moving component (the arms).

Proper form is a must. If you cannot perform the pushup demonstrated without breaking form, then watch this video on how to perform a half pushup. Practice and progress!
